LADEC is a conference for discussions, information exchange, and networking related to laboratory automation (the automation of research). While the automation of research is becoming a global trend, it faces serious challenges, one of which is the widespread scattering of know-how and information worldwide. As a result, developers often find themselves struggling alone, while newcomers have difficulty obtaining precedent information, creating a vicious cycle.

In previous years, LADEC primarily featured invited lectures as its main program. However, for LADEC2024, we aim to increase opportunities for participants to share their insights by introducing a public symposium for the first time. This year, we will provide enjoyable opportunities for discussion with a more extensive venue, a wider variety of sessions, and a greater number of exhibits.
